10 Huge Questions Still Surrounding Loki On Disney+

As a villain, Loki is one of the most compelling, and most evil the Marvel Cinematic Universe has to offer. However, between his loss in New York in 2012 and his death at the hands of Thanos in 2018, he went through a quite incredible redemption arc.

When the MCU picks up with Loki for his Disney+ series, he will not have reconciled with Thor throughout The Dark World, Ragnarok, and Infinity War, and could still be very much classed as a villain. In spite of this however, he will still be the protagonist on Disney+, with the trailer hinting at a mysterious hooded figure taking the antagonistic role.

This is a character that neither Disney or Marvel have released any details about. They can be seen in the trailer starting fires and causing trouble, but why they are doing such things, and even who is underneath the hood, is still completely unknown.

Could this be an established MCU character set for a surprise return, or a brand new character altogether? It's a similar mystery to that which has surrounded Black Widow's Taskmaster for months now, and will likely still plague fans right up until the release of Loki in May 2021.
