After going through 2020 with no new MCU releases, Disney ended the year strong with its Investor Day, dropping loads of new details and release announcements for the coming few years. While there were several film details unveiled, it was the upcoming MCU Disney+ slate that took centre stage.

WandaVision will be the first series to release on the streaming platform, and Hawkeye stole headlines recently with casting news and leaked set photos, but thanks to its trailer release, Loki may well now be the most anticipated series of them all.

When Loki died in Avengeres: Infinity War, his was one of the few deaths that looked to be permanent. It wasn't the snap of Thanos' fingers that saw Loki's demise but the snap of his own neck. Endgame however, opened up another avenue for Loki to continue in the MCU, and now Disney are set to take it.

In this series it seems like literally anything could happen, with seemingly no end to the limits of the God of Mischief and the stories Marvel could tell. While Loki's first trailer gave plenty of new details, it also left fans with a LOT of questions.

10. What Will Happen To The Tesseract?

As one of the six infinity stones, the Tesseract is one of the most powerful objects in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was able to power the Red Skull's entire arsenal, opened the wormhole for the Chitauri to come to Earth, and is able to transport anyone across the galaxy in the blink of an eye.

This is how Loki managed to escape from the Avengers in the new timeline created by their Time Heist, finding himself somewhere in the desert. This was shown at the very beginning of the trailer, but the rest of the footage failed to show the Space Stone at all.

So what actually happens to the Tesseract? Such is the power of the cube that there is no way it doesn't have some role to play in the upcoming series, but what exactly could that role be?

Is it something that the TVA confiscate from the God of Mischief, and if so are they able to contain it? Do they truly know what it is and what it is capable of? Or does Loki conceal it as he did at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, keeping it hidden from his new employers? Odin deemed it unsafe to keep two infinity stones so close together, but here Loki could be taking the Space Stone to a timeline which already has one of its own. This surely won't end well at all.
