10 Laziest Star Trek Alien Designs

1. Brenari

Star Trek Brenari
CBS Media Ventures

The Brenari appeared in the fifth season episode of Star Trek: Voyager Counterpoint. Though several of them are shown, the main focus is on guest performer Randy Oglesby, who had previously appeared under far heavier makeup in Deep Space Nine. Though the make-up was incredibly light for these aliens, they would go on to reappear almost two decades later.

Though many of the races listed in this article fall under Ransom's description, the Brenari are perhaps more noticeable for appearing alongside the Devore. These imposing guards sported a more detailed brow, stalking the ship with imperious ease.

Twelve Brenari would appear in the episode, including several children. One of these children would return to Star Trek, serving as an ensign aboard the USS Dauntless. It was thanks to her that Vice-Admiral Janeway was able to escape her confinement.
