6. Card Sharks-Thanks, Bill
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnrRed-QIM8 Though Bob Eubanks is best known for his work with The Newlywed Game, many game show fans would also associate him with Card Sharks, which he hosted in the late 1980s. Indeed, many of the shows viewers would be able to name him as the host, but this task appeared difficult for model/card dealer Lacey Pemberton during this 1986 episode. After Eubanks announces that they are looking for young contestants, he hands it over to Lacey to explain how local preteens can get on the show. She then refers to the host as Bill, failing to realize her mistake until the audience begins to stir. Once it dawns on her, she completely loses it, repeatedly making it a point to refer to Bob by his name and insisting that the young contestants tournament really would have fun on the show. (Despite her hiccup, she must have been successful in garnering interest in being on the show; Pemberton has since worked as the casting director for The Bachelor).
