4. Stranger Things: Tales From '85
There has been plenty of fun poked at the fact that the kids of Stranger Things are no longer kids, with them now being grown adults, and in the case of Millie Bobbie Brown, parents themselves for season five.
However, 2025 has proven beyond a doubt what a draw the show still is in spite of this. The fifth and final season has drawn record numbers on Netflix, and though this was the last chapter told in the main series, there is still plenty of room for a spin-off or two in the future.
The first of these will come in 2026, with Stranger Things: Tales From '85. Set between the events of seasons two and three, the animated show will bring back some big names as Executive Producers in the Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy, and according to the former, will have the feel of a Saturday morning cartoon.
It certainly sounds a fun if different direction for the franchise, and based on the reception to seeing the kids return in 2025, the same will be welcomed again in 2026, even though they won't be voiced by the same actors.
