8. Sherlock Season 4
It might not have been mentioned much, but Sherlock stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are very busy and successful Hollywood actors nowadays, meaning it's harder to fit the detective series into their schedules.
That means that, while we had a Special episode earlier this year, Series 4 will be the first new run of the show in three years - that's a long time away for one of the UK's biggest TV series.
Series 4 will likely be very big then, but will it be any good? There was a noticeable decline in Series 3, and the Special was good until it stopped being Victorian.
Obviously we can't answer that question yet, but early signs are promising. The new trailer looked much darker, and Toby Jones will arrive as perhaps the most sinister villain yet. Oh, and we can finally get to the bottom of all that Moriarty business.
