10 Most Inappropriate Doctor Who Moments

5. The Body Swapping - New Earth

Doctor Who Rose New Earth

Truth be told, body swap stories are always a bit weird, but somehow Doctor Who managed to make theirs especially awkward.

In the Series 2 opener, New Earth, the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler are reunited with the villainous Lady Cassandra, who enacts her revenge on the pair by possessing Rose’s body.

Nothing too inappropriate initially, but things quickly take a turn to the ridiculous, as we’re subjected to multiple scenes of Cassandra admiring her new features, stroking her bum, flaunting her cleavage and attempting to seduce the Doctor.

Furthermore, she eventually possesses the Doctor and remarks that he has: “So many parts, and hardly used.”

He/she even claims that Rose has been, “looking”, which can only mean one thing. Looking back on it, it’s hard to believe that Russell T. Davies managed to get away with this in a ‘family show’.

While it must be said that Billie Piper and David Tennant are clearly having a lot of fun, it is very, very cringe-worthy and feels completely at odds with the tone of the rest of the episode.
