10 Most Messed Up Deaths In Hannibal

Probably the biggest character death in Hannibal, Beverly Katz was one of the many, many people that found out Hannibal's secret and paid for it with her life.

Starting out in the show as the badass side detective who was one of the only people that remained Will Graham's friend even when he was framed for murder, Beverly truly believed in Will, and followed his leads without question all the way to her death.

One day she broke into Hannibal's home and made her way through the mansion until she found a secret passageway in Hannibal's pantry, that led to his horrifying butcher area which was essentially a morgue and also a freezer.

It is unclear what exactly Beverly found, with fans speculating it could have been anything from Abigail Hobbes to a frozen body - but whatever it was it was enough to prove Will right in his seemingly baseless claims that Hannibal was a serial killer.

However, Hannibal was standing right behind Beverly as she made her discovery, and the two had a massive off-screen fight that ended in Beverly's death.

We don't see exactly how she dies, but the next time we see her she had been frozen solid and sliced up like a dissection model showing separate layers of her body. It's pretty damn gruesome - albeit also interesting and educational.
