6. Chu'lak's Victims - Field Of Fire

Lieutenant Hector Ilario, Science Officer Greta Vanderweg, and Petty Officer Zim Brott all became victims of the deranged Vulcan Chu'lak. Using a TR-116 rifle, with a micro-transporter attached to help the bullets travel through bulkheads, these three poor people were killed from afar.

They were the victims of a man who had lost so much in his life that, repressed as his emotions were anyway thanks to his Vulcan discipline, found himself enraged by the joy of others. They had next to nothing in common, save for photos of their happiest moments adorning their quarters.

They, sadly, were punished (despite being totally innocent) by a man who felt that all joy was mocking, and must be destroyed. It took the mind of a killer to bring this man down, as both Ezri and Joran Dax worked to get inside his head. In a near miss, Dax dodges Chu'lak's bullets while firing one of her own, incapacitating him.
