10 Most Meta Moments In Supernatural

Surprising absolutely no one, The French Mistake does indeed make it to this list. Now, while the whole episode is a meta-fest, it'd be unfair to give an entire 45 minute episode a single entry. Instead, let's give a couple of the best moments to time to shine.

After the Winchesters get sucked into "Bizarro World," where Supernatural is a TV show and they're actually actors called Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, they meet the boot-licking, ineffectual guy behind the angel's gravelly voice.

While the IRL cast of SPN are all good mates, these versions are more distant. Ackles and Padalecki don't talk off set, and Misha desperately wants to be "one of the guys." He's so delighted to just be in conversation with "Jared" and "Jensen" that he delightfully tweets out about their interaction.

What really made this moment, though, was Misha Collins' choice to send out the exact tweets word for word from his own Twitter account. As far as immersive experiences go, this is up there.

This isn't the only time Supernatural has dabbled in real world crossovers: Becky Rosen, a SPN fangirl introduced in season five, appears to have her own account with her tweets from season seven's "Time For A Wedding!" Neat.
