10 Most Re-Watchable Star Trek Episodes

2. Endgame

Star Trek Voyager Endgame
CBS

While Endgame is not the best finale of them all, it has one of the best re-watch values of them. This is not a criticism - it is very hard to beat the highs of All Good Things and What You Leave Behind - and if anything it speaks to the fact that Endgame is one of the most fun finales of the bunch!

Voyager covered in armour!

Transphasic Torpedoes!

Alice Krige as the Borg Queen!

It was a triumphant ending to the series, with a cathartic (if a little brief) return to Earth by the crew. Watching Voyager escape from a Borg Sphere by destroying it from the inside out was, without a doubt, cool!

Yet there is heart in the episode as well. Seven of Nine, despite being somewhat shoehorned into a relationship with Chakotay, shines, while Harry Kim FINALLY makes captain, even if it is in a timeline that now never existed (honestly, when will that man ever catch a break?)

But, the episode belongs to Kate Mulgrew again, playing both captain and admiral Janeway in several scenes together. The fact that it all comes together so seamlessly is simply a wonderful aspect to the episode.

Star Trek: Voyager was a wonderful series overall, which may have suffered a little from comparison's to The Next Generation, yet has completely established itself as a solid and essential piece of Star Trek history, with a wonderful finale.
