9. Mad Show Boys, "Music Thief" - Latvia, 2012
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8AeHyJ8bko Latvia have had some pretty weird people attempting to make it to Eurovision the past. In 2012 alone, not only did the Mad Show Boys ramp up the bizarre levels, there was a girl singing from within a full-body sized birthday cake costume. Even the song that they actually sent to Eurovision included references to noted music legends Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney and...Johnny Logan. Can't fit all of the big names in then, I guess. "Music Thief" is, just as the title suggests, a song that is made up of stealing quotes and samples from a number of other more famous songs. Just to make it even more crazy, the group have dressed up as the most bizarre combination of musicians possible. Perhaps we should be happy that this is the only time that we will ever see Marilyn Manson, Mr. Lordi and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the same stage. Or we should rebuke it for being so very, very wrong.
