Lucille began communicating with recording artist Kidd Cole and his record label, which was supposedly affiliated with Kanye West. After a string of events which involved a lot of money and unpaid bills, Miguel, Cole's manager, bolted and left Lucille to pick up a large cheque.

During the investigation, the hosts discovered the music on SoundCloud was not even Kidd Cole's and got in touch with another victim of the catfish. Loretta, the victim, revealed Cole had a criminal record for felony and fraud.

Finally Cole agreed to meet them and throughout the interaction was clearly dismissive and uninterested, texting on his phone the whole time. This infuriated Nev who took the phone from Kidd Cole and tossed it into the nearby water.

In the follow-up interview Cole stuck to his story but was revealed once more to be lying when his friend confessed to the producer that the entire thing was a farce. Afterwards, Lucille never contacted him again and Cole refused to speak to Catfish but was believed to be up to his old tricks.

Lies and large sums of money aside, this episode will always be remembered for Nev's iconic phone toss.
