10 Most Underrated Deaths In Game Of Thrones

2. Myrcella Baratheon

Myrcella Game Of Thrones
HBO

Myrcella Baratheon was a peripheral character. She did not have much dialogue compared with her two brothers and she wasn’t even featured in Seasons 3 and 4. Remarkably, however, her death had plenty of emotional weight.

In essence, it was the dialogue and performances that made her death scene so captivating. After leaving Dorne with Jamie, Myrcella admitted that she knew the truth about her parentage. Far from feeling uncomfortable, she embraced Jamie and said that she was glad he was her father.

Immediatley after this embrace, the poison inflicted by Ellaria started to take effect, and within moments, Myrcella had died in Jamie’s arms.

The scene was made all the more tragic by the fact that Myrcella was so young and innocent. Despite having Cersei for a mother and Joffrey for a brother, she was one of the few characters who was devoid of malice.
