10 Most Underrated South Park Characters

2. Craig Tucker

The build-up to Craig's introduction was executed with so much skill, as he was a persistent presence - much like DogPoo - before he finally got the chance to speak. Every time the boys were taken to the counsellor's office, audiences saw Craig sat outside. It was clear that whoever this kid was, he certainly knew how to get into trouble, and when he first spoke, it was easy to see why.

From the offset, Craig Tucker is presented as not caring about anything. The rules and regulations of the school do not matter to him as he sneakily flips off Mr Mackey with no concern at all. This personality trait would continue with him and become a central part of his character.

Craig is funny because he simply doesn't care, and delivers everything with a flat, deadpan tone. He has been given plenty of notable moments in the show, with the most prevalent being his part in the Peruvian flute pandemic two-part special and his relationship with Tweak.

Despite his prominent position, Craig tends to fly under the radar as his comedy relies more on reservation and subtlety, making him appear less interesting than the outlandish and louder humour of the other characters. Despite this, he deserves far more recognition than he gets.
