10 Most Underrated Star Trek Episodes

6. Deadlock - Star Trek Voyager

Star Trek Deadlock
CBS

Star Trek Voyager's first couple of years were a little rough in terms of quality. There are examples of absolute gold in there, but there is admittedly some filler episodes.

Deadlock is not one of those episodes.

Coming late in the second season, this episode sees two Voyager's attempting to share the same space in space and time. Their dual existence is crippling one of the vessels, while the other initially remains blissfully unaware. However, it also immobilizes both - leading to an overrunning of the ship by the Vidiians, easily one of the nastiest villains of Voyager's seven season run.

There are some great moments here, including the birth of Naomi Wildman - the first child born on Voyager - and a lovely switch up in the end that will leave people scratching their heads - one of the standout episodes of Voyager's entire run.
