10 Most Underrated TV Actors Of All Time

1. Alison Brie

The Mandalorian
Sony Pictures Television

When it comes to thinking about the most underrated great TV actors, Alison Brie is easily the queen of them all.

Consider her credentials: She starred as Trudy Campbell, long-suffering wife of the cheating and conniving Pete Campbell (Vincent Kartheiser), on Mad Men; she portrayed the hilarious Annie Edison in the cult sitcom Community; then she moved on to voice Diane in the masterful tragicomedy BoJack Horseman; and led a packed ensemble in the dramedy GLOW.

Alison Brie has done everything from biting satire to revolutionary drama, daring animated character studies to unique sports dramas, and has played every one of her roles to perfection.

Despite her back catalogue, though, Brie has only one Golden Globe nod to her name, and compared to other leading actresses on the small screen has always felt left out in conversations about the true greats of modern TV acting.

With her next major TV project, here's to hoping people start paying her her dues.
