10 Most Underrated TV Actors Of All Time
5. Antony Starr
Antony Starr got his start on the New Zealand family sitcom Outrageous Fortune, which ran for six seasons, before securing the lead role of Lucas Hood in the unfathomably underrated action-drama series Banshee.
Banshee follows Hood as he assumes the identity of the titular town's sheriff and uses his newfound power to continue committing crimes whilst also handing out his own unique brand of justice.
In the role, Starr was equal parts dark, vicious and somehow endearing, and following the show's conclusion after its fourth season, he found himself most recently cast as the breakout character Homelander in Amazon Prime's intensely popular superhero drama The Boys.
The Boys, for all its popularity, has given Antony Starr legions of new fans, and although his scene-stealing turn as the twisted and evil "hero" is easily the show's strongest aspect, Starr himself has never found himself in contention for any major awards.
He's been sinister, funny, violent and electric, and hopefully future seasons of The Boys will lead to a boost in recognition.
