10 New Shows That Already Deserve To Get Cancelled

It's shocking how much of success in Hollywood is down to timing, and how frequently producers fail to realize this. Consider for a moment the as yet unnamed Grey's Anatomy spinoff.

The first and perhaps most important issue with this is the inescapable fact that Grey's Anatomy has been hemorrhaging viewers for years. There was a time when water cooler talk was all about what happened on Grey's the night before -- that time has long since passed.

If you want to capitalize on a hit television show, you have to do it while people still care, not five years later when a lot of television audiences would be mildly surprised to hear that it's still on the air. And what's more, this spinoff isn't going to have any of the main cast members on it.

It isn't even going to be about doctors.

So what, exactly, is the point of a spinoff of a show past its prime that doesn't even have any of the once-beloved characters in it? All of this just feels like a slimy, last ditch effort to squeeze a few more pennies out of a show in decline.
