10 New Shows That Already Deserve To Get Cancelled

7. The Resident

This may be an unpopular opinion, but the world needs only so many medical procedurals. There are like a handful in the history of television that manage to stand out and the rest are all basically the same and only popular because certain demographics need shows that follow a very specific pattern every single week that never surprises them.

The Resident not only takes on the mantle of being yet another unnecessary doctor show, but it adds into it the irritatingly over done cliche of the brash older professional teaching the idealistic youngster about life.

And you know what? That naive kid is probably going to end up teaching the jaded cynic a little something too. Public service announcement to any and all potential show-runners: this is not a story that needs to be told ever again.

The casting is fine but doesn't have the kind of star power that might draw audiences to it; Matt Czuchry stars as our pouty-lipped young doctor, while Bruce Greenword serves as his gruff mentor.

Could anything be more immediately forgettable?
