8. South Park

When it first started out, South Park was an irreverent, subversive show that satirised pretty much everything as and when it saw fit. A big screen feature soon followed, and its creators - Trey Parker and Matt Stone - continued on with the series, following successful adventures in theatre with the Book of Mormon.

The South Park of today, however, is very much a different animal. Typified by its bizarre social commentary and the even weirder refusal on the creators' behalf to dare mention the perennial dumpster fire that is the Trump Administration, the show persists as a tone-deaf, demonstrably awful quagmire of unintelligible commentary that, if we're being honest, also reads like a YouTube comments-section in motion.

South Park doesn't really have all that much to say, really, although it would probably like to think otherwise.
