Another key Phase Four effecting moment up took place in the closing stages of Endgame, as an old Steve Rogers appeared to pass the mantle of Captain America over to his pal Sam Wilson by handing him his iconic shield.

Only, when Falcon and The Winter Soldier was eventually announced to be coming to our screens vis Disney+, fans immediately questioned why Sam wasn't going by 'Cap' now?

Thankfully, one shot in the 'Big Game' trailer for the shows revealed Sam testing out his shield throwing skills and the series' titles also contain Cap's protective tool. So, this probably means that Sam has to overcome a few obstacles before finally becoming the second coming of Captain America, right?

Or will another hero (possibly his ally and co-star Bucky Barnes) inherit the title and shield during the course of the series?

Marvel Studios have brilliantly made us unsure whether or not Sam will ever be given the chance to fully step into his old pal's shoes by not revealing him in full stars and stripes uniform just yet. However, by the time the first season of Falcon and The Winter Solider is in the books, we'll surely know either way whether Sam is the hero to officially take up the Captain America moniker in future MCU outings.
