1. What The Hell Happened In Budapest?
Is there a bigger mystery in all of the MCU?
Throughout the history of the franchise, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton have often reminisced about a mission or event which went down in Budapest. The pair spoke of the incident during Avengers Assemble and Avengers: Endgame.
But, it's still never been officially revealed what the hell happened to the heroes/assassins in the Hungarian capital at any point in the films.
Yet, though many seem to believe that Scarlett Johansson's solo Black Widow movie will shed some light on the infamous showdown, that isn't the only place where the pair's history could be thoroughly dissected.
With Hawkeye set to have his own series come to Disney+ (hopefully next year!), a returning Jeremy Renner could very well reveal what went down in Budapest during a training session with Kate Bishop. Black Widow and Hawkeye have been deeply connected since the early days of the MCU, so it's also not completely out of the question for Johansson to return at some point in the show...even if it is just in flashback form.
