10 Reasons 2015 Is The Perfect Year To Become A Doctor Who Fan

When Doctor Who returned to our screens back in 2005, it was to a huge audience of both new and existing fans. Viewing figures were extraordinary, based on the fact that original fans were imploring friends and relatives to give the show a chance. They tuned in in their droves to watch the return of the blue box that some had never before had the experience of seeing, and in turn they became the Whovians of today. The downside, of course, is that this created a whole new era of fans who perhaps didn€™t quite understand and/or appreciate what came before. This - generally speaking - can be frustrating for fans of the original series as they can see it being ignored in place of its 21st century continuation. Whilst this is understandable, the idea of going back to the very beginning of the Doctor€™s travels was impractical for many families. Finding the time to sit together and watch the sheer volume of episodes would be virtually impossible and that€™s without factoring in the lost episodes and the cost of building the library (although CAL would probably be able to help). With NuWho, however, that€™s a much different story and whilst time would still have to be invested, it would be much less than what would be required to become an original series savant. With the advent of DVD and online streaming, it has become so easy to relive the Doctor€™s adventures from 2005 to present day and there€™s seven months until the next series begins in which to do it. You'd better get started, then!
