10 Reasons To Be Excited About The Full House Spin-Off

The new series plans to flip the original show's formula on its head. Full house was a show about widower Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) who finds himself alone to raise his three young girls. His brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos) and best friend Joey (Dave Coulier) move in to help him raise the kids.

For Fuller House, recently widowed D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Brue) will be joined by sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) to help raise her three sons.

It should be noted that the third son is actually unborn. The eventual birth of said child could be a massive tear-jerker of an episode.

Another question to ask is who exactly  is D.J.'s deceased husband. Will original recurring cast member Scott Weinger (most famously remembered as the voice of Disney's Aladdin) reprise his role as D.J.'s former boyfriend Steve to step in? 

Since D.J.'s last name is Fuller and Weinger's character was named Steve Hale at least it's known that he isn't the deceased husband. In Full House's final scene he steps in to take D.J. to the prom, so there's hope that their love can be rekindled.
