10 Revived TV Shows That Should Have Stayed Dead
4. Charlie's Angels
If there was any one TV series less in need of a gritty reboot it would be Charlie's Angels, which was camp and breezy by design. Try telling that to the ABC network, who decided the world really needed a version with boring characters and flat action.
The 2011 version was brought to the world by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who also gave us Smallville and The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor; that was the first warning sign. The three actresses picked for the angels failed to make any of them engaging, and the baffling decision to give the show a grounded feel just sucks the fun out of the premise.
The show was so dull that Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is more entertaining in comparison; a sentence no one should ever have to type.
