10 Rick & Morty Fates Worse Than Death
1. Being Jerry
The world's most pathetic man, Morty's father is just trying to get by in life, but has to deal with an unceasing torrent of derision and misery. A lot of the hatred that comes Jerry's way stems from his father-in-law Rick, who sees Jerry as a complete waste of space and mocks him constantly, much to the amusement of the rest of the family (none of whom respect Jerry either).
Jerry's list of failures is almost impressive. He gets divorced from Beth and ends up living in the saddest apartment on Earth. His best friend is Doofus Rick. The best day of his life, in which he ripped off the "got milk?" slogan and won an award for it, turned out to be a poorly-constructed simulation.
The purest embodiment of his existence is revealed to be a gross, pathetic slug creature. He's so immature and useless there's an inter-dimensional daycare dedicated entirely to him. Oh, and he refused to give up his genitals to save the galaxy's greatest civil rights leader, Shrimply Pibbles.
People feel so sorry for Jerry that he attempts to use their pity to his advantage, but still never manages to do anything right. Out of all the cruel fates in the multiverse, Jerry has the worst, and he's never going to escape it.
