10 Sci-Fi TV Shows That We'll Be Glued To This Season

7. Arrow

Arrow The second season starring everyone's favorite, green-clad archer aired on October 9th on the CW, and I'm not talking about Robin Hood. In its first season, Arrow introduced a new, darker side to the DC character, showing Oliver Queen's transition from spoiled rich kid to haunted vigilante. After escaping from an island in he middle of nowhere, armed with a bow, some arrows, and a new found sense of justice, Oliver spent the entire first seasons hunting down crime lords and generally cleaning up Starling City, all while trying to keep his identity a secret. The season finale (spoilers ahead) saw the death of his enemy, Malcom Merlyn, and Oliver's best friend, Tommy Merlyn. So far, this season has shown Oliver return to the island, racked with guilt over Tommy's death. But casualties are in a hero's line of business, and there are plenty of new villains for the Green Arrow to deal with, as well as a number of new potential allies. Don't pretend you aren't excited about the Black Canary, we all know you are deep down. So with all this in mind, season two of Arrow shouldn't disappoint.
