10 Sci-Fi TV Shows You Must Binge-Watch This Summer
9. Warrior Nun
This new Netflix series follows a young woman who wakes up from apparent death in a morgue only to find an ancient symbol on her back, after which she is gifted with a divine mission to join an ancient order and help them stomp out the evil in the world.
Though it heavily leans into the occult, science fiction will also play something of a major role as some of the characters - kid you not - build a machine that contains a gateway to Heaven. They don't teach you that in science class!
Perhaps the strangest title of any TV show this year, Warrior Nun is an intentionally on-the-nose as the show itself appears to be, and it's that fearlessness that could very well result in some unexpected brilliance.
It kicks off the summer with a bang as all 10 episodes drop on Netflix on July 2.
