2. "This Is The Sparrow Academy"
Hopefully by now, you've seen Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, because if you haven't then you've probably seen more than a few spoilers. Perhaps the most significant spoiler though comes in this entry, so we implore you, if you don't want to know the end of season twist, then look away ... now!
OK, so you've been warned. Let's continue. As Season 2 reaches its conclusion, the team manage to transport themselves back to the current day from 1963, after narrowly avoiding yet another cataclysmic event. But as you'll remember, the world they return to is not the one that they left behind, finding a similar group of heroes in their place, curiously known as The Sparrow Academy.
Observant viewers will have noticed the many sparrow references throughout the second season, but in case you missed it here's a few we spotted. Sparrow's are depicted on the Goldfield Farms ice-cream truck, in the psychiatric facility bathroom wall, in Harlan's toy collection, in the bar Klaus and Ben walk into, episode 3's intro, old Five's briefcase, on Hargreeves' stationary, and many more times - shown fourty-three times in total. Talk about foreshadowing.
