10 South Park Fates Worse Than Death

In the episode, It Hits the Fan, the residents of South Park are excited to learn an upcoming episode of HBC's Cop Drama will use the word "s*^t". When the show's ratings skyrocket after the episode airs, the swear word is deemed culturally acceptable, causing society to say "s*^t" so often, it becomes overindulgent.

As time goes on, the boys notice many people in the town are becoming increasingly ill, including Kenny. They learn from medieval knights that "s*^t" is known as a curse word because it is literally cursed! If the word is overused, it will create a deathly plague. In fact, when the word first came into use, it initiated the Black Death during the Middle Ages.

When the boys learn that overusing this world is causing people to get sick and it will eventually spawn a world-destroying dragon called Geldon, they march to the HBC studio to stop them from using the curse word.

The studio executive refuses to believe this claim and swears profusely to prove the boys wrong. However, his constant cursing summons the world-destroyer, Geldon.

Although he was defeated, it would've been pretty ridiculous if mankind was exterminated because a studio wanted to boost its ratings.
