Two paranormal investigators are staying the night at the hall, said to be haunted by the ghostly figure of a witch, when the Doctor and Clara arrive. Happy to help the investigation the Doctor dives into exploring the creepy house, only to discover that the ghost is not all it seems... An extremely creepy episode, with some great jump scares at the beginning and lots of atmosphere. This one is not for the faint hearted, and is best watched during the daylight or with someone else - trust us, we saw this at midnight! The period setting is lovely, as is the gentle love story between the two paranormal investigators, with the shy, psychic girl being played by Call the Midwife actress Jessica Raine. A definite watch on Halloween!
