The very first Klingon ever encountered by a Human (not counting Worf in Star Trek: First Contact), Klaang makes an explosive entrance in Enterprise. He is pursued by two Suliban, before attempting to find refuge on a farm. The silo he uses for a hiding place explodes and he is later shot by the farmer, as neither can communicate with the other. Standard Earth-Klingon relations.

Tommy Lister Jnr. kicked off Enterprise with his appearance, though this was far from his first television or film role. He had appeared in dozens of acting projects, such as The Dark Knight, The Fifth Element, Friday, Next Friday and Little Nicky.

He may be best remembered as Zeus, a professional WWE wrestler - making him one of three WWE stars to appear in Star Trek, with The Rock and Big Show being the other two.

He appeared in the 1989 film No Holds Barred. This was his role as Zeus, where he was a rival to Hulk Hogan. He would join with 'Macho Man' Randy Savage against Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake. Hogan came out as the winner, pinning Zeus to the matt.

In 2020, Lister tested positive for COVID-19, though he recovered. He experienced symptoms similar to COVID later in the year, though remain, as of this writing, uncomfirmed. He was a diabetic and it was not considered unusual for him to miss filming. When he cancelled appearances and did not reply to missed calls, police were called to his home on 10th December 2020, where he was found unresponsive. While the case is still being investigated, the case is being marked as death by natural causes. He was 62 years old.
