10 Star Trek Villains Who Actually Won

4. Commander Kruge - Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

Star Trek 3 The Search For Spock Christopher Lloyd Kruge

Seriously, screw this guy.

Now we love a bit of Doc Brown here, but Commander Kruge is straight up git. First, he manages to get the details on Project Genesis - not something that should fall into the hands of movie-era Klingons. Then, he kills he partner just for having looked at the data. Gentleman.

Then, after his ship is repsonsible for the destruction of the USS Grissom (say what you want about him killing the gunner, if they hadn't been there in the first place, Starfleet's greatest captain, J.T. Esteban would still be with us), he sends an away party down to the surface of the Genesis Planet and things start to get particularly hairy.

With a little help from Khan's battering of the Enterprise in the previous film, Kruge cripples Starfleet's most famous ship in a single shot. Then, just to prove he really is the worst, he orders the death of David, Kirk's son.

In one short afternoon, this Klingon B**tard is responsible for the destruction of the USS Enterprise and the death of David Marcus.

It was a little too satisfying watching him fall into that lava.
