10 Supporting TV Characters That Completely Stole The Spotlight
5. Paris - Gilmore Girls
The best thing about Gilmore Girls was the supporting characters. Yeah, Lorelai and Rory were great, but if it wasn't for the likes of the strange neighbours and intense parents, the show would be nothing.
Speaking of intense parents, Emily Gilmore was by far the best supporting character on the show. Not only was she incredibly funny but she also had a sensitive side to her that was fun to watch develop. However, by the end of the show's run, everybody knew that it was Emily Gilmore's show and that without her the show wouldn't be half as popular.
So, instead, it seems only right to include another supporting character that managed to steal every scene, that of the enemy turned frenemy, Paris Geller.
Paris (played by the brilliant Liza Weil) started out life being hated by the Gilmore Girls elite but then somehow managed to turn everything around and become one of the most loved characters ever to have graced the show. Everybody needs a Paris in their life.
