4. James...With Boobs
This was one episode that left viewers baffled, with the travellers entering a beauty contest, you would expect Pikachu donning a fedora and shades, but instead, they went a completely different way. The first questionable piece of footage was Ash & Brock ogling Misty when she appears in a bikini, which isn't really suitable for the target audience in any stretch of the imagination, but then they decided to take it up a notch by creating a creepy old man who preys on Misty for the whole episode, how did they possibly think this would be fine? Then it gets even more inappropriate, with Team Rocket turning up and Jessie appearing in a bikini, once again ill-fitted, but even at this point they decided it just wasn't indecorous enough and topped it all off with James wearing a set of inflatable boobs. As if all this wasn't bad enough, James begins to actually taunt Misty for her assets and as of all these bombshells crammed into a single episode, the episode was pulled after airing only once in Japan and had no inclusion in the U.S. version.
