3. Charizard Leaves
The whole reason I wrote this article is because a huge event happening in the Pokemon world, especially of those who is hugely nostalgic about the first few seasons. This was another point in Ash's journey where he decided to part with one of his beloved Pokemon, but this time it was the biggest badass of them all, Charizard. Anybody who knows Pokemon, knows Charizard, and even in the anime he was a beloved character with him probably being one of the first on-screen characters to troll a human being. Charizard was to put it bluntly, an asshole, but one we all loved, with his constant mood swings making him flame, literally, and how Ash used him to destroy Pidgeys and Rattata's, but when Ash decided to let Charizard leave to train at the Charific Valley with the others, we once again saw the softer side of Pokemon, making the viewers weep as another loved character left our screens.
