1. The Doctor (Doctor Who) & Rupert Giles (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
I must say, I think a meeting between these two would be absolutely fantastic. The time-travelling Doctor and the slayer watcher Giles. They are two quintessentially British characters (although the Doctor is obviously a Time Lord and not actually a Brit) who are both incredibly intelligent, have razor sharp wit, possess an infectious sense of humour and devote their time to fighting evil. The main thing that makes these two differ, however, is that the Doctor is a technological genius who lives in a universe where magic essentially doesn't exist, while Giles is adept at both the principles and practice of magic whilst not having a clue about technology. To pool their resources and their minds would be enough to take down almost any foe! They would admire and respect each other greatly and the conversations they could have and the experiences they could share with each other would be epic and would make for brilliant viewing. In fact, a Buffyverse/Whoniverse crossover in general would be fantastic. Take note, powers that be!
