9. Hotel California - The Office
Starring: James Spader, Dakota Johnson, and Adrienne Barbeau After Saber folds, Robert California (James Spader) is contacted by relatives and informed that his favourite Aunt (Adrienne Barbeau) is in financial straits. She owns a bed and breakfast in a Boston suburb, South Yarborough, and needs his help, but is too proud to ask. As it turns out, it's just a ruse to get Robert to South Yarborough to get him to reconcile with his estranged daughter Millicent (Dakota Johnson) who's been helping run the bed and breakfast. Quite successfully, actually. Millicent has her fathers powers of persuasion, tenacity, and penchant for inappropriate conversation. The local townsfolk, a rivalry with another bed and breakfast across town, and visitors to the Inn itself, all push Robert's patience to the limits. This time though, he's determined to get to know his only child better and make up for the time they've lost together. Millicent is understandly skeptical.
