10 Things About Doctor Who That Need To Change

4. More Male Company

Female attraction can grab enough attention, hence why it's used too much in the world of Doctor Who. Ian Chesterton, Ben Jackson, Jamie McCrimmon, Harry Sullivan, Turlough, Mickey Smith, Captain Jack Harkness and Rory Williams are the main companions that have accompanied the Doctor throughout his travels. But that is it, as far as it goes. The Brigadier could be classed as a companion, but he has never travelled with the TARDIS and out of the Doctor's own accord, and as for Adam Mitchell... Well, no one includes him. Hopefully, there will come a time where the Doctor will simply look for a male companion, who's actually interested in what he's interested in. Think of it like best mates, the geekiest of mates. And hopefully writers will eventually latch on to this nice little idea, sooner rather than later.
