2. How Do The Townsfolk Take Back The Town From Presidio?
That giant leap of story-breaking logic gets worse - because we never see the outcome of the fight at the mansion that supposedly liberates the town from Presidio, either.
We see Moshe and Gina surrounded by a dozen Presidio soldiers, and we see a fight begin - but we don’t see the outcome. Similarly, we see the townsfolk rise up against the Presidio soldiers at the mansion, who have been posing as FEMA and the CDC and using the cover story of a spill of some kind to corral everyone in one place.
The thing is, these people have no real reason to suspect that these people aren’t telling the truth about a biohazard - and we never see the outcome of that scene either.
Considering those fake FBI/FEMA/CDC officials are actually highly trained, heavily armed paramilitary assassins who are briefed to kill every last one of them anyway, it seems like a stretch of Mr. Tickle proportions to assume that Moshe and Gina weren’t shot to death inside their car and the townsfolk weren’t all butchered where they stand.
Instead, they win - but we're never shown how. Instead, we cut to Gina getting her flirty coffee on with Moshe as though he wasn't secretly a ravening monster who just killed people with his bare hands, while the Allens carry on with life as usual in the mansion that was just turned into a concentration camp and then a war zone.
Meanwhile, Presidio wander back to their concrete bunker having decided - what? To leave the monster children in the hands of the traitor who gave their boss to a mad warlock to turn into cat food?
Who writes this stuff, and can we get them to stop?
