Deborah Ann Woll may not be a household name, but she has been launched into the Marvel world with huge success on the widely-acclaimed Daredevil series on Netflix. The 30-year-old actress' most famed role came during the hit HBO show True Blood, playing the role of Jessica Hamby across a six-year spell, ending in 2014 when the series ended after seven seasons of blood, gore and a whole cast of lusty vampires. Before then, she had made guest appearances in some of US TV's biggest shows including: ER, My Name Is Earl, CSI, The Mentalist and Law & Order, all of which culminated in the True Blood role, and most recently Daredevil. It's a drastic change from her original acting path which saw the Brooklyn-born actress graduate from the University of Southern California and completed a rigorous Shakespeare training program in London, England. Woll will be hoping to use her Daredevil fame to springboard into future projects, with an upcoming lead role in Forever already in the pipeline, but she still remains grounded despite her rise to fame.
