Woll had to master a southern accent before she took part in True Blood, and managed that feat in just '4 or 5 days' as she was quickly needed for filming, though she found it tough to begin with. She told the Toronto Sun: In the very beginning the Southern accent was a challenge, because some of the sounds are kind of close to that Yankee, Brooklyn sound. So my problem was, when I would fall out of the Southern accent, I would fall into a Brooklyn accent, which sounds really, really wrong for the part. But that was in the first season. I felt much better by the second season.
