Cohan graduated from the University of Winchester with a degree in English Literature and Drama, before she started touring with a theatre company she co-founded. This led to her being cast in Casanova alongside the late Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller and Jeremy Irons. It was her first appearance on-screen, before she quickly moved from the film world and onto TV where she has made her mark.
