10. She Comes From A Family Of Professors

Sarah Wayne Callies was born on 1st June 1977 in La Grange, Illnois into a family of academics, with her father David E. Callies a law professor, while her mother Valerie Wayne was a professor of English. She pursued her own dreams though, and was quickly interested in an acting career. Callies graduated high school and attended the highly-esteemed Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, while she was involved in theatre work on the side. Soon after, her education continued at Denver's National Theatre Conservatory, where she picked up a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2002.
