9. Gwynnifer Is Real

Executive producer Dan Harmon is notorious for being the outspoken type. Especially on social media, so it makes sense that when someone particularly annoys him, he likes to have some good natured fun at their expense.

One of the stand out episodes of season 2 - if not the entire show - is Cooperative Calligraphy, where Annie loses her pen and by the end the entire gang is trying to kill each other trying to find out who took it.

But before all the insanity truly breaks out, Jeff calls his date - Gwynnifer - to tell her that the date is off. Funny thing though, Gwynnifer is REAL. At least, that's what a Twitter user called herself when she got into a Twitter feud with Dan Harmon. Harmon found the feud so annoying yet so funny that he decided to lampoon the source of his temporary frustration in an episode, having his show's protagonist stand her up and basically telling her to kiss his ass.

Not the most mature response, but hey, who am I to judge?
