5. What Would Ned Do About Daenerys?
Many people see Daenerys as the hero, everyone saw Ned as the hero, yet if the pair ever met, they'd be sworn enemies. Season 1 highlights this fact clearly, though Ned's honour means that he can't endorse any attempt made on her young life. The pair would clash once Daenerys grew though, and if Ned was still around today, he'd surely be dealing with the Dany problem in some way.
Daenerys sees Ned as one of the 'Usurpers dogs' referring to Robert Baratheon who conquered King's Landing and overthrew the Mad King, Dany's father. However, before the series began, that same King burned Rickard Stark alive in front of his father Rickard who was strangled to death in a bid to save Rickard.
They were Ned's brother and father respectively, so I doubt he'd be too pleased to see the Mad King's heir rising to power.
