10 Things You Never Knew About The Doctor Who Specials

1. David Tennant Had A Wrap Party

https://youtu.be/n4hhWiqS7K4 After perusing the Internet and scavenging for any additional Doctor Who footage (when can you ever get enough?), you may happen upon this humorous music video of the cast and crew bidding goodbye to the Tenth Doctor. The catchy tune playing in the background is (evidently) entitled 500 Miles by a Scottish band called The Proclaimers, its most iconic members being Charlie and Craig Reid who are identical twins (and make a brief appearance alongside their biggest fan). If you haven€™t guessed already, David Tennant is allegedly their biggest fan; therefore, this honorary tribute to the Tenth Doctor could showcase nothing but the band€™s most ubiquitous song. If anything, this video is sure to crack a smile, as it spotlights our favorite companions and villains, all those working behind the scenes to make the show possible (even the caterer), and a very enthusiastic, dancing Doctor. The stuff of legends. What did you think of this list? Are there any other little known facts about the Doctor Who specials that should've been included? Leave 'em in the comments below and don't miss our retrospectives for Series 1, Series 2, Series 3, Series 4, Series 5, Series 6 and Series 8. Happy 10th anniversary, NuWho!

Anna is an aspiring writer who has an incurable obsession with Doctor Who. When she is not writing about Doctor Who, she's watching favorite episodes and contemplating what to write next. When she's writing about Doctor Who, she anticipates her reward: watching yet another Doctor Who episode. She also manages to read science fiction (especially Ray Bradbury), recite lines from Shakespeare's Macbeth, and make terrible puns in her free time (she likes to imagine she has great puntential, though)
