Rotten Tomatoes score: 5%

Another misfire for Harington (and there wasn't even room on this list for cheesy classical disaster flick Pompei), Silent Hill: Revelation reunites Jon Snow with his Stark father Sean Bean for a film that has probably the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score of anything the Game Of Thrones cast have gone on to do.

Imagine how bad a belated sequel to a disappointing video game movie made with less than half the budget of its predecessor might be. Then lower those expectations. That's the quality of movie that is Silent Hill: Revelation.

In a plot that conspires to be both paper thin and convolutedly muddled, Harington is a student who tries to help the adopted daughter of Bean's character from the first film as she discovers her mother (Radha Mitchell) is trapped in Silent Hill's otherworld.

For a film of a game that, for all its derivativeness in terms of story and imagery, managed to be genuinely unnerving, Silent Hill: Revelation is also shockingly lacking in even the most basic chills and scares.

They Said: "With horror altogether absent and a plot drowning in insipid convolutions, it's a film whose early warning to Heather should be heeded: 'Don't go to Silent Hill.'" (Village Voice)
