5. Jerry And Elaine - Seinfeld

Seinfeld might have been a show about nothing, but the characters had a lot to say. It was refreshing that Elaine was the only female of her friend group and the men never tried to make a pass at her. However, there was obviously something between Jerry and Elaine.

There was an episode where they attempted to be friends with benefits and they had even dated in the past, but viewers never got a chance to see their relationship in action. It couldn't have ended too badly if they were able to remain friends, which is a good sign. Plus, Jerry could never keep another woman around for long, so it would've made sense for him to give Elaine a second chance.
